: : : Looking for recipe to crepes St. Jacques....WOW ! what memories. Also, I hear there is a Magic Pan cookbook out there. I do have a small old crepe cookbook (The Crepe Cookbook, Doubleday 1969), written by the original restaurant founder and her sister. The preface talks about "future" plans to open many a restaurant. Does anyone know what happened to these great places. I worked in one in Manhasset, Long Island 25 years ago as a kid when they were owned by Quaker Oats. Where are they now ?

: : Mike,

: : I don't know, but I have been trying to find Magic Pan recipes all day today....what a coincidence. Please let me know if you find anything and I will, to you, as well.

: The small cookbook I have is by the Magic Pans original owner yet it's recipes are different than the Magic Pan I remember. How about those spinach salads with crumbled bacon & egg and warm vinigrette dressing, YEH !!

My friend and I were discussing our childhoods and both loved the Magic Pan Spinach Crepes & Mandrian Orange salads. I thought I'd see if there were any resturants
remaining. I guess they've all closed. Have your heard any new news?
