This may not be of much help now, but we've had the same problem in the past. Other than making wonderful jelly or preserves, the only thing I use them for is a substitute in recipes calling for applesauce or crushed pineapple. I added them to spice cake and carrot cake, using recipes on the back of cake mix boxes. They can also be used in quick bread mixes with good results. They can be frozen for future use or for fruit smoothies. Hope this helps, even though it comes kind of late. Our fig season is coming to an end right now; they're getting fewer and smaller every day. Good luck.
