Erik -- If you can learn to make a decent beef gravy, which isn't
that hard, your love life could get lots better. One of my favorite
meals is roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and steamed asparagus.
What you need to realize is that the modern deli will sell you
rather passable roast beef by the slice. The Yorkshire pudding is relative
easy if all ingredients are at room temperature. Steamed asparagas is
a snap if you don't oversteam. You can practice the pieces on yourself
until you get the gravy right. Putting such a meal together is just a question
of slipping by a deli for several slices of roast beef and cranking up
the oven. The meal done right is delicious. FG--
