: Dear FoodGuy,
: I'm in need of a recipe for bread "bowls"- the small, round loaves of
: bread that can be hollowed out and filled with soup. I've search through
: countless cookbooks, old and new, but have been unable to find one. Would a
: dense-textured bread, such as Italian, be a good substitute? Please help, as my
: church needs them soon for a Soup Supper. Thanks and God Bless!
: Norma

norma, bread bowls are easily made out of frozen bread dough. each loaf makes 3 bread bowls. thaw it out and cut into 3 pieces. let rise and bake according to directions on package.
